I'm Levi Logan, founder of Numerical Tutoring. My journey from failing Year 10 advance mathematics to graduating with a 95.90 Atar taught me that struggling with maths doesn't have to define your future

My Journey with mathematics hasn't always been easy. In Year 10, I failed advanced mathematics. I didn't understand the content and lacked confidence. But I refused to let that define my future.
Through consistent practice, the right support and a genuine effort to understand the subject, I was able to completely turn things around
The Results of
Hard Work
After changing my approach to learning, I was able to achieve strong results across all my subjects in Year 12. I graduated with a 95.90 ATAR and received A grades in Mathematical Methods, Specialists Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
These results weren't achieved because maths had always been easy for me. They were the product of consistent practice, determination and learning to understand concepts rather then simply memorising procedures

My academic achievements weren't something I accomplished on my own. I was incredibly fortunate to have the support of my family, teachers and mentors who believed in me, even when I was struggling.
Their encouragement, guidance and belief in my potential help me develop the confidence and mindset to keep improving, and ultimately achieve results I never thought were possible.
Today, I try to bring that same support and encouragement to every student I teach.

After experiencing both the challenges and rewards of learning mathematics, I wanted to create a structured and supportive learning environment for Queensland students.
In 2023, I founded Numerical Tutoring to help students build a genuine understanding of mathematics, develop confidence and achieve their own academic goals.
Everything we do is based on what I wish I had when I was Struggling- clear explanations, structured practice, regular support and the tools to track progress.
